Justice in Singapore: former Romanian diplomat Silviu Ionescu involved in the car accident causing the death of a person was driving the car

The investigation of prosecutors in Singapore concluded that former Romanian diplomat Silviu Ionescu was the one driving the Embassy's car in the night when the car was involved in a deadly accident, causing the injury of two persons and the death of another. The announcement was made by investigator Victor Yeo, who concluded his investigation after hearing 54 witnesses, in six days, Channel News Asia reads.

Senator Catalin Voicu, hospitalized at the Jilava Penitentiary hospital

Senator Catalin Voicu was hospitalized on Tuesday night, around 23:30 at the Jilava Penitentiary hospital after he received a medical consult. Voicu accused pains and the doctor decided to hospitalize the patient. For now, a diagnostic is not known.

Romania's Parliament rejected the Public Television (TVR) 2008 activity report on Tuesday, March 30, with 195 votes in favour of rejecting he report, 78 against and 3 abstentions. The Administration Council (CA) led by president – general manager Alexandru Sassu, is dismissed by law.
