Temperatures to hit minus 20s in some regions, on Saturday night

Record low temperatures will hit the country in the upcoming days, the mercury falling to minus 20 degrees Celsius in some zone on Saturday night, according to data released on its web site by the National Meteorological Authority.

In the following 12 hours, temperatures are to range between minus 6 and zero degrees C, the lowest in Transilvania, minus 6, Crisana and Maramures, minus 5. In Muntenia, the temperatures will range between minus 3 and minus 1, the same as in Oltenia and Moldova, and in Dobrogea they will range between minus 1 and minus 2.

On Saturday and Sunday the weather forecast is of minus 8 and minus 2 – during the day and between minus 20 and minus 5 during the night. AGERPRES
