President Traian Basescu on Monday signed a decree suspending Paul Pacuraru as minister of labour, family affairs and equal opportunity, pending the conduct by the National Anti-Corruption Directorate (DNA) with the Supreme Court of Justice and Cassation of a criminal investigation into alleged bribe taking involving Pacuraru. 4-year-old girl dies after polyp surgery

The family of a four-year-old girl who died after polyp removal surgery on Wednesday filed a complaint with the Cluj Doctors’ College, charging that the girl died because of the anaesthetic.
