Tariceanu: I want to be PNL candidate for Premier

The chairman of the ruling National Liberal Party (PNL), Premier Calin Popescu-Tariceanu, said on Friday that he wanted to the the PNL candidate for the position of Prime Minister.
He told the standing delegation of the above-mentioned political group, which convened at Neptun (a resort on the Black Sea coast), that he wanted it in order to be able to continue the projects he had begun and said that the Liberal government was a success.
Tariceanu also said that he would run for an MP mandate in electoral college 2 in Bucharest. He added that it would be a harsh election campaign as the Liberals had powerful counter-candidates who must not be underestimated. AGERPRES
