PSD and PD-L at the top of Romanians’ preferences in parliamentary elections

PSD (Social Democratic Party – 30.5 percent) and PD-L (Democratic Liberal Party – 30.2 percent) would be most voted by Romanians if parliamentary were held next Sunday, reads a release conducted by the Association for Transparency and Freedom of Expression (ATLE) over June 17-25, whose results were made public on Sunday.
The third place would be held by the National Liberal Party with 14 percent of the votes. Below 5 percentage points would have UDMR (Hungarian Democratic Union of Romania – 4.9%), PNG-CD (New Generation Party-Christian Democratic 3.4%), PC (Conservative Party – 3.3%), PIN (2.3 %), PNTCD (National Peasant Christian Democratic Party 1.1%).
The poll was conducted in 40 Romanian counties and in Bucharest on a batch of 1,142 people representative for Romania’s population over 18 years of age. The maximal error is of +/- 3 percent. ROMPRES
