Romania signs EU Reform Treaty

Romania signed, alongside the other EU member states, the European Union’s Reform Treaty agreed upon almost two months before at the informal summit of the heads of state and government organized in the Capital City of Portugal.
President Traian Basescu, Premier Calin Popescu Tariceanu and Foreign Minister Adrian Cioroianu signed the document on Romania’s behalf.
The event took place at the Jeronimos Monastery in Lisbon, the place where the Treaty on Portugal’s EU accession was sealed in 1985. ROMPRES
