Mungiu’s film among favorites for Golden Globe Awards

Cristian Mungiu’s film ‘4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days’, winner of Palme d’Or Prize in Cannes Film Festival, has been nominated on Thursday for the Golden Globe Award for best foreign language film.
The film directed by Cristian Mungiu is praised by the critics and seen as one of the favourites at the Golden Globe Awards this year, and an important candidate for an Academy Award in best foreign films.
Films such as ‘The Diving Bell and the Butterfly’ (France-US co-production), ‘Lust, Caution’ (Taiwan), ‘The Kite Runner’ (US) and ‘Persepolis’ (France), also vied in the Golden Globe contest for foreign films. ROMPRES
