CSAT decision on antiterrorist cooperation

The Supreme Council of Country’s Defence (CSAT), reunited on Tuesday, adopted a decision on the full cooperation between the state’s structures for the prevention of activities which can have a terrorist effect on Romania’s territory, announced President Traian Basescu.

‘We assessed an intensification of activities on Romania’s territory, but without endangering the security, the situation being under control. Intensification of activities with a terrorist effect is also examined from the prospect of the NATO Summit next year.

To this end, a CSAT decision was adopted focused on the full cooperation from this point of view between all the state’s structures, the Ministry of Interior and Administrative Reform (MIRA), Ministry of Defence (MAp), Foreign Intelligence Service (SIE), so that the NATO Summit will take place under high security conditions’, underlined the head of state.
