Steaua qualify for 2nd consecutive time for Champions League groups

Steaua Bucharest has managed the second consecutive qualification for the Champions League groups, after defeating Belarus’ champions BATE Borisov 2-0 (1-0), on Wednesday, in the second leg of the 3rd preliminary round of the competition.
Steaua scored through Dorel Zaharia (12) and Adrian Neaga (54). In the first leg, in Belarus, the score was 2-2.
Referee: Pieter Vink.
Linesmen: Adriaan Inia, Hans Ten Hoove
Booked: Stasevici (24), Nesu (27), Filipenko (58) and Dica (84).
