Steaua Bucharest qualify for preliminary 3rd round of Champions League

Steaua Bucharest qualified for the preliminary 3rd round of Champions League after defeating 2-1 (1-1) Poland’s champions Zaglebie Lubin, on Wednesday in Bucharest.
Zaglebie opened the score through Michal Stasiak (the 29th min.), Steaua leveled it through Banel Nicolita (the 37th min.) and took the lead through Dorel Zaharia (the 82nd min). In the first leg, Steaua had won 1-0.
In the preliminary 3rd round of Champions League, Steaua will encounter Belarus’ champions BATE Borisov, who eliminated in the preliminary 2nd round FH Hafnarfjoerdur (Iceland), 1-1 at home and 3-1 away.
