The general consolidated budget for the first five months of the year had an 606.7 million lei surplus (some 200 million euros), representing 0.16% of the gross domestic product and 0.3% than the same figure at the end of April. Read more
6,000 candidates for Nokia

Officials in the Cluj County Employment Agency estimate that the future Nokia factory will attract some 6,000 candidates at the special job fair organized for the Finnish company. Nokia will employ until the end of the year some 500 individuals, but the number will grow to 3000 before the end of 2008. Read more
