US could send temporarily soldiers in Romania

The United States intend to cut their military effectives in Europe to three brigades, while a fourth one could be called to military manoeuvres and other missions in Romania and Bulgaria, ‘The Christian Science Monitor’ reads in its electronic edition.
According to the new plans of reconfiguration of the American troops in Europe, the number of US effectives stationed on the continent, which amounted to 62,000 soldiers in 2005, will be reduced to three fighting brigades totaling 35,000 soldiers.
According to the proposal, a fourth brigade could be called from the US to Romania and Bulgaria, in order to participate to exercises and other military missions.
