Public service media in Romania and Bulgaria get full rights within European Broadcasting Union

Managers of public service media institutions in Romania and Bulgaria have presented a survey before EBU’s office in Brussels regarding the nature of their activity within the framework of international media.

This presentation occurs on the background of recent accession of the two countries to the European Union, fact that gives them full rights and responsabilities within European Broadcasting Union.

According to public radio’s correspondent in Brussels, EBU’s Secretary General Jean Réveillon emphasized the importance of the changes regarding editorial policies and human resources that public service media have operated over the last years in both Romania and Bulgaria.

The CEO of Romanian Broadcasting Corporation Maria Toghina has presented the activity of the four channels of the public radio, focusing on those programmes that promote European integration and the European spirit and values, as reported by RADIO ROMANIA ACTUALITATI.
