The number of Vodafone clients in Romania reached 7.7 million as the country remains the main engine of growth for the company in Eastern Europe, a company press release says. Iraq authorities formulated no accusation against the two Romanian citizens taken into custody yet

Romanians Adrian Gancean and Nelu Ilie were taken into custody by the Military Police of the U.S., because they were caught on Oct. 31,2006 filming at a military base in Iraq, the preliminary investigations are still underway and no official accusation has been made as yet, spokesperson for the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) Corina Vintan told a press conference on Wednesday.
